Velona Cuddles was recognized for their excellent performance in the “innovative brand of the year” category held at the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards 2020, which was held recently at the BMICH. The latest recognition cements the position of Velona Cuddles as the custodian of Sri Lanka’s favourite diaper brand.
Velona Cuddles received the Silver Award in the above category in recognition of the excellent performance and successful implementation of innovations in terms of product, packaging and distribution. Velona cuddles showcased its product innovation with the launch of its Eco-Friendly Biodegradable Bamboo Diapers and 100% Biodegradable Bamboo Water Wipes which have been awarded the Australian Toxic Free and Allergy Certifications. It was also the first FMCG brand to recognize the need for convenience in purchasing regularly used products and launch a subscription-based app for seamless home deliveries. The timely introduction of this app in March 2020, assisted its loyal customers during a year where getting essentials delivered home was critically important.
